The Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to grant permission to conduct the Spiritual Programs of Adaikal Naduthal on 07.07.2023 at 9.00 A.M and the Spiritual Programs of Alagara Dheepa Arathanai, and Samakodai on 14.07.2023 at 06.00 P.M. to 12.00 A.M in the festival of Arulmegu Shree Chinnathambi Temple festival, Near SIPCOT, Pallangalam, Gangaikontan, Thirunelveli District with light and sound and to provide necessary police protection.

2. It is brought to the notice of this Court that the Division Bench of this Court has passed an order in W.P(MD) No.12535 of 2023, dated 24.05.2023, directing the official respondents to consider the representation given by the parties on the eve of conducting temple festival of Adal Padal, cultural programs, Kodai Vizha, etc., within seven days. If there is no permission granted within the above said seven days, a deemed permission can be assumed. Now, the date of representation of 2/4

the petitioner is 17.04.2023, but so far, it has not been considered by the respondents.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that because of the law and order issue, the respondents keeping the representation of the petitioner pending.

4. The third respondent is directed to dispose the above said representation immediately on its own merits by following the above said order of Division Bench of this Court in W.P(MD) No.12535 of 2023, dated 24.05.2023.

5. With the above said direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
