09.01.2023 and consequently directed the respondents 1 to 3 pavement should be constructed in 338, 337, 323, 321 in Athanur Village, Vadipatti Taluk, Madurai District to access the petitioner's house site plot No.36 in Survey Nos.26/1 and 26/4A, 26/4B, 26/4C, Vavidamaruthur, Vadipatti Taluk, Madurai District within a time frame from this Court. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM,J.) Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted a copy of the sketch, which would reveal that there is no pathway to reach Adi Dravidar colony.

2. Lands were acquired under the Tamil Nadu Adi Dravidar Land Acquisition Act and the acquired lands were assigned in favour of the beneficiaries, who are landless poor Adi Dravidar community people. Admittedly, there is no pathway provided for the said colony. Therefore, the

respondents are directed to initiate action to acquire land for the purpose of providing pathway to the colony enabling the assignees to construct residential houses to lead their livelihood.

3. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
