Mr.M.Karuppasamy, learned Government Advocate takes notice for respondents.

2.By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 3.According to the petitioner, he made a representation, dated 25.07.2018 seeking to give protection to perform the Aadi Kodai festival of Sri.Perumal Swarmi Temple on 16.08.2018 at Melaramasamypuram, Kilaramasamypuram Post, Nangaimozhi Village, Thiruchenthur Taluk, Tuticorin District . No order has been passed till date. Hence, the petitioner filed this present writ petition before this Court.

4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation filed by the petitioner would be considered by the second respondent in accordance with law.

opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 25.07.2018 on merits and in accordance with law, after providing an opportunity to the parties concerned. within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
