ORDER : This Writ petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of MR.K.RAJESHWARAN, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.P.KOTTAICHAMY, Government Advocate(Crl.side) on behalf of the Respondents the court made the following order:- 1/3

The petitioner has approached this Court alleging that the respondent Police is harassing him under the guise of enquiry, in a civil dispute between him and one Justin Joseph.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submits that the petitioner has lodged a complaint as if the said Justin Joseph is attempting to evict him. The said complaint was enquired and the same was closed as mistake of fact.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has received a summon from the respondent Police calling upon him for enquiry before the respondent on the complaint given by the said Justin Joseph.

4. In view of the said submission, the respondents Police are directed to file a counter.

5. Post the matter on 13.06.2024.
