ORDER

The Writ Petition is filed seeking Mandamus forbearing the third respondent Police from anyway harassing, ill-treating and threatening the petitioner herein from running Beauty Parlour / 1/3

Massage Centre in the given address. Since the place of the business falls within the jurisdiction of Perumalpuram Police Station, the petitioner has filed impleading petition in W.M.P.(MD) No.11003 of 2019 to implead the Inspector of Police, Perumalpuram Police Station, Tirunelveli District, as fourth respondent and the said Petition has been allowed by order dated 21.01.2022.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that neither the Palayamkottai Police nor the Perumalpuram Police have any intention to interfere or harass the petitioner, if the petitioner herein is going to carry on Beauty Parlour business lawfully and within the permitted parameters. However, they should not be prevented from taking action against the petitioner if any cognizable offence is made out or any untoward incident come to the knowledge of the Police.

3. This Court finds that the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor is fair and in accordance with the legal procedure. Hence, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent Police that if the petitioner's Beauty Parlour is run in accordance with law without any violation, the same shall not be interfered.
