ORDER
When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though the petitioner challenged the promotion panel, now that the petitioner has been promoted to the post of Special Sub-Inspector of Police. Therefore, nothing survives for adjudication in the present writ petition. He has also made an endorsement to that effect. 2.In vie of the above, this Writ Petition stands dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
