This petition has been filed seeking direction to the Judicial Magistrate, Fast Track Court, Tuticorin, to expedite the trial process and complete the same within a specified time stipulated by this Court in C.C.No.630 of 2018.

2. Even though the matter has been listed for dismissal today, the learned counsel for the petitioner appeared through video conferencing and submitted that because of personal inconvenience he could not appear before the court on the previous hearing. He would submit that the case has been registered in the year 2018 for the offence under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act and even after lapse of 3 years, there is no progress in the matter. It is also submitted that the concerned Judicial Officer post has left vacant and when the matter was taken up by the Principal District Munsif, Tuticorin, he is also holding additional in-charge. 3.Considering the oldness of the matter, there shall be a direction to the learned In-charge Magistrate (Judicial Magistrate Level Fast Track Court Magistrate, Tuticorin) shall complete the trial process in C.C.No.113 of 2018 within a period of 6 months from https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
