No.4944 of 2021 :- Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is filed under section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, praying this Hon'ble Court to extent the time to surrender before the learned I Additional District Judge (PCR) Court, Trichy in Crl.O.P.(MD)No. 5702 of 2021 dated 21.04.2021.

Criminal Original Petition is filed under section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, praying this Hon'ble Court to pass an order or direction directing the Learned I Additional District Judge(PCR Court) Trichy to consider the petitioners bail application on the same day of his surrender in Cr.No.68 of 2021 on the file of the 2nd respondent.

ORDER:- Criminal Miscellaneous Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.S.C.Herold Singh, Advocate for the Petitioner and of Mr.R.M.Anbunithi, Additional Public Prosecutor On Behalf of the Respondent, this Court made the following order:

CRL MP(MD). No.4944 of 2021 This petition has been filed to extend the time granted in the order dated 21.04.2021 made in Crl.O.P(MD) No.5702 of 2021, on the file of this Court.

2.Today, the learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that due to lockdown, the petitioners could not surrender before the concerned Court within the stipulated time prescribed by this Court and hence seek time to surrender.

3. Considering the request made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, 15 days time is extended from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is ordered.
