ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent police to expedite the investigation in Crime No. 29 of 2020 and file the final report. 2.The grievance of the petitioner is that based on the complaint lodged by her, the respondent police had registered an FIR in Crime No.29 of 2020, for the offences under Sections 417 and 376 of IPC. But, till now, final report has not been filed in this regard. Hence, she filed this petition.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent police had registered an FIR, after completion of investigation, filed final report before the Additional Mahila Court, Madurai and the same was taken cognizance in P.R.C.No.865 of 2022.

4.Considering the matter in the light of the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), the Additional Mahila Court, Madurai, is directed to dispose of the case as early as possible.
