PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to remove or shift the High Voltage Transformer erected by the respondents in the mid of land which is the access to the petitioner's property in No.767/2A, Shri Sastha Veerakkumar 1/4

Thirumana Mandapam, Ambiligai Post, Oddachathiram Taluk, Dindigul District to the Northern side of pathway or any other safer place within the time limit fixed by this Court.

ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a mandamus as against the respondents to shift the high voltage transformer which has been erected in the middle of the petitioner's property wherein a Kalyanamandapam is located.

2. According to the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, a part of the Kalyanamandapam has been demolished for widening of the road after following the Land Acquisition proceedings. Therefore, he has converted the Kalyanamandapam into a hotel. On instructions, he submits that the high voltage transformer may be retained in the present place itself. 2/4
