Heard the learned appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 2.The petitioner had filed a petition under Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act 2007, before the second respondent. The petitioner wants cancellation of the settlement deed executed by him in favour of his son, who is the third respondent herein. It appears that the third respondent had filed O.S.No. 17 of 2020 before the District Munsif, Keeranur and citing the pendency of the said Suit, enquiry proceedings are not taking off. Hence, the Writ Petition is filed.

3.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents submitted that the second respondent would dispose of the petition filed by the petitioner herein on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
