Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, to pass an order of direction, to direct the Learned Special Judge, Special Court for Trial of Cases under SC/ST (POA) Act, Thoothukudi to consider the bail application of the petitioners in connection with the FIR in Crime No.286 of 2020 on file of the second respondent police on the very same date of their surrender and to dipose of the same on merits in accordance with law and consequently to release the petitioners on bail on the very same day itself.

ORDER:- This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.M.S.Jeyakarthik, Advocate for the Petitioner and of Mr.R.M.Anbunithi, Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents 1 and 2, this Court made the following order:
This petition has been filed to extend the time granted in the order dated 20.04.2021 made in Crl.M.P(MD)No.3114 of 2021 in Crl.O.P(MD) No.3142 of 2021, on the file of this Court.
2.Today, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that due to poverty condition of the petitioner, the petitioner could not surrender before the concerned Court within the stipulated time prescribed by this Court and hence seeks time to surrender.
3. Considering the request made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, 15 days time is extended from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4.Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is ordered.
