Mr.M.Karuppasamy, learned Government Advocate takes notice for respondents.

2.According to the petitioner, he made a representations, dated 20.07.2018 and 26.07.2018 seeking to grant police protection for the purpose of Sree Eranki Muthamman Temple Trust Yearly Aadi Matham Festival and programs. No order has been passed till date. Hence, the petitioner filed this present writ petition before this Court.

3.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the Revenue Divisional Officer, Aruppukkottai, Virudhunagar District, has passed an order in Mu.Mu.A2/2874/2018, dated 31.07.2018 on the petitioner's representations and the copy of the same has been produced before this Court.

4.Recording the afore said submission and in view of the order passed by the Revenue Divisional Officer, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
