PRAYER : Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider the representation dated 12.11.2018 within the stipulated time fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 12.11.2018.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner had attended the interview for the post of Noon Meal Organizer at Allinagaram on 09.02.2018. As per the eligible criteria, she would be selected for the aforesaid post, but for the past two years, no action has been taken by the respondents for appointing her in the said post. Hence, she made a representation on 12.11.2018 to the first respondent and the same has not been considered till date. for the relief stated supra.

3.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the third respondent would submit that based on the communal roster and as per the eligible criteria, the appointment to the post of Noon Meal Organizer will be filled up. The proposal for appointment to the said post has already been sent to the first respondent for approval. After getting approval, the appointment orders will be issued to all the selected candidates.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, this Court directs the first respondent to finalize the selection process on merits and in accordance with rules and as per eligible criteria and issue the appointment orders to all the eligible applicant within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
