This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to further investigate in C.S.R.No.74/2025 on the file of the second respondent police dated 17.03.2025. 2.According to the petitioner, she lodged a complaint before the second respondent, for which, C.S.R.No.74 of 2025 has been assigned and thereafter, no action was taken. Therefore, the petitioner sent the representation dated 17.04.2025 and the same has also not been considered. Hence this petition.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that based on the petitioner's complaint, C.S.R.No.74 of 2025 has been assigned and the same was closed on 27.03.2025, due to non appearance of the petitioner. 4.Since the prayer of the petitioner is to conduct further investigation in C.S.R.No.74 of 2025 and the same has been closed due to the absence of the petitioner, the prayer has become infructuous. 2/4

However, the petitioner is at liberty either to challenge the closure of the complaint in the manner known to law, if she is aggrieved or to give a fresh representation.
