Mr.M.Karuppasamy, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

2.By consent of the both parties this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has made a representation dated 18.07.2018 to the second respondent to grant permission and protection for the "Manja Thidal Cricket Tournament" to be conducted on 04.08.2018 and 05.08.2018 at the Field, Manja Thidal, Trichy-11, Trichy District, but sofar no order has been passed. Hence, the present writ petition is filed.

4.In view of the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, without expressing any opinion, this Court is inclined to direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.07.2018 on merits and in accordance with law, on or before 03.08.2018.
