ORDER
The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to direct the first respondent to make payment of 10% interest for belated payment of pension and commutation pension in continuation of G.O. (1D) No.45 Revenue Department dated 11.02.2019. 2.The petitioner was serving as Village Administrative Officer and retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation on 31.10.2013. The grievance of the writ petitioner is that the pensionary benefits due to him was settled belatedly for which he is entitled for interest as per the Government orders and rules in force. In this regard, the petitioner submitted a representation to the first respondent on 11.02.2019 and the said representation is yet to be considered.
3.In view of the facts and circumstances, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner on 11.02.2019 claiming interest for the belated settlement of terminal and pensionary benefits and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
