This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the the 2nd respondent to issue a Non Traceble Certificate to the petitioner in respect of missing documents vide Document No.214/1969 and 464/1989 on the file of Kadambur Sub Registrar, Thoothukudi District and Alanganallur sub registrar, Madurai District by considering the petitioner's online application dated 04.10.2024 in Reference No.CAS24476050. 2.According to the petitioner, when the petitioner was minor, his grandmother has purchased properties in the name of the petitioner and the same were registered in Doc.No.214/1969 on the file of Kadambur Sub Registrar, Thoothukudi District and Doc.No. 464/1989 on the file of Alanganallur Sub Registrar, Madurai District was purchased by his grandmother. During the renovation work in the petitioner's house, the said documents were found missing. After intensive search, he could not trace the documents. Therefore, he has lodged a complaint on 04.10.2024 and also sent a representation on 16.04.2025, but the same were not considered. Hence, this petition.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that they have received the complaint and representation of the petitioner and the same were under enquiry, since the petitioner has not produced the relevant documents. If the petitioner appears for enquiry along with the necessary records, they will consider and take action based on the representation of the petitioner. 4.Considering the prayer of the petitioner and the 2nd respondent also admitted the receipt of complaint and representation of the petitioner and since the petitioner has not produced the relevant documents, the same is pending.
5.In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to appear before the 2nd respondent on 30.04.2025 and produce all the relevant records, thereafter, the 2nd respondent is directed to conduct enquiry and take appropriate action based on the complaint and representation of the petitioner within a period of 15 days week from the date of this order, in accordance with law.

6.With the above observations and direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of.
