O R D E R

The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent states that based on the communication issued by the Assistant Commissioner of Customs, Thiruvananthapuram, the present demand notice came to be issued.

2. It appears that the impugned action has been taken pursuant to the notice issued as per the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Revenue Recovery Act. The basic details furnished by the Assistant Commissioner of Customs, Thiruvananthapuram, have been given to the petitioner's counsel. It is for the petitioner to invoke the provisions of the Right to Information Act or any other mode to challenge the said certificate in the manner known to law. Without questioning the primary proceedings, it is not open to the petitioner to question the consequential proceedings. All the rights of the petitioner are left open.
