ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 26.04.2021, wherein, the petitioner is seeking for issuance of patta in his name. 1/3

2. The case of the petitioner is that the property was allotted by the Tamil Nadu Housing Board to one Mr.U.K.Rajendran. This property was purchased by the mother of the petitioner by virtue of a registered sale deed registered as Document No.435 of 2009. Thereafter, the petitioner's mother executed a gift deed in favour of the petitioner on 01.06.2020 and the same was also registered on the file of the Sub Registrar, Devakottai.

3. The petitioner made a representation before the respondents on 26.04.2021 seeking for issuance of patta in his name. Since the same was not considered, the present Writ Petition has been filed before this Court seeking for appropriate directions.

4. Heard Mr.R.Alagumani, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Lingadurai, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 5.

5. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for in this Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the third respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 26.04.2021 and deal with the same on its own merits and in accordance with law and pass final orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the third respondent along with all the relevant documents and also a copy of this order.

8. This writ petition stands disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
