O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction, to expeditiously dispose of the proceedings in C.C.No.1720 of 2019 pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Tiruchirappalli.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner filed a private complaint against the accused for the offence under Sections 200 of Cr.P.C r/w Section 138 & 142 of Negotiable Instruments Act. The case was taken on file in C.C.No.1720 of 2019 pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Tiruchirappalli. It is pending from the year 2019 without any progress due to the Covid 19 lockdown, seeking speedy disposal of the case.

3. I have considered the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner. Since the Criminal Original Petition is filed for early disposal of the petition, issuance of notice to the respondent is not necessary.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the case, this Court is inclined to give a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Tiruchirappalli to dispose the case in C.C.No.1720 of 2019, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
