ORDER

Mr.M.Karuppasamy, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

2.By consent of the both parties this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has made a representation dated 18.07.2018 to the second respondent to grant permission to conduct the Villupattu programme at Sri Thikkal Vaimozhi Thirukkovil, Nagaram, Duraichamiapuram, Tirunelveli District from 23.08.2018 to 25.08.2018 by providing adequate police protection within the time stipulated by this Court, but sofar no order has been passed. Hence, the present writ petition is filed.

4.In view of the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, without expressing any opinion, this Court is inclined to direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner's https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

representation dated 18.07.2018 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
