PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the records pertaining to the impugned detention order passed by the 2nd respondent made in his proceedings in C.No.30/Detention/C.P.O/T.C/2024 dt 29.03.2024 in detaining the detenu u/s.2(f) of the T.N.Act 14 of 1982 as a Goonda and 1/4

quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenue namely Deva, S/o.Ganesan, Male aged about 30 years who is detained in Central Prison, Tiruchirapalli before this Court and set him at liberty. O R D E R

When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, by producing a copy of G.O.Rt.No.2990, Home, Prohibition & Excise (XII) Department, dated 17.05.2024, would state that the impugned detention order has been revoked and hence, the prayer sought for in this Habeas Corpus Petition has become infructuous.

2. Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.
