The petitioner seeks issuance of writ of mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal pertaining to issuance of patta in the name of the 4th respondent's father.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the official respondents.

3. The petitioner has made a representation in the form of appeal to the 2nd respondent challenging the issuance of patta to one Kasi Nadar, who is the father of the 4th respondent. The said representation is dated 25.03.2025. The petitioner merely seeks for expeditious disposal of the said representation.

4. Considering the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of, directing the 2nd respondent to hear the petitioner's appeal, dated 25.03.2025 and pass orders, after affording an opportunity to the petitioner as well as the 4th respondent, on merits and in accordance with law, 2/4

within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
