PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to issue community certificate as Konda Reddis to the petitioner's son Nitesh.J based on the representation made by the petitioner dated 25.06.2021 within the stipulated period. 2.Heard Mr.S.Alagarsamy, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Baskaran, learned Standing Counsel for Government appearing for the respondents.

W.P.(MD).No.12143 of 2021 3.The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition praying for a direction to the second respondent to issue community certificate to the petitioner's son J.Nitesh, certifying that he belongs to Konda Reddis community.

4.This request has been made in the form of a representation dated 25.06.2021. It appears that as of now, applications for grant of community certificates are also entertained online. If that is so, the petitioner may choose to apply for a community certificate for her son by way of an online submission. If such facility is not available in the office of the second respondent, then the representation of the petitioner dated 25.06.2021 may be treated as an application for grant of community certificate and enquiry be conducted and orders be passed on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve [12] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
