ORDER
This writ petition is filed seeking for a direction to direct the respondents to dispose the petitioner's application dated 26.09.2018 for name correction in revenue records.
2. Mr.C.Ramesh, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the property in Survey No.230/28 situated at Keeladi Village, Thiruppuvanam Taluk measuring an extent of 0.00.27 Hectare belongs to the petitioner. In this regard, the petitioner was issued patta No.66. He would also submit that in the patta and other revenue records, the petitioner's name has been mentioned as Chinna Pandi instead of Pandi. Therefore, the petitioner approached the first respondent for rectifying the mistake in the aforesaid records. Sofar no action has been taken. Hence, the petitioner filed this present Writ Petition.

W.P.(MD)No.11953 of 2020 4.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's representation would be considered and final order will be passed on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 5.In agreement with the submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court is inclined to pass the following direction:- (i) The second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.09.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.This Writ Petition is disposed of, accordingly. No costs.
