The petitioner has sought for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 10.03.2025, by conducting proper enquiry. 2/6

2.Heard Mr.M.Perumal, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr.B.Saravanan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 6.

3.It is the case of the petitioner that based on survey made in respect of the lands in S.No.40/6A1B, the survey officials have fixed the boundaries inside the petitioner's property comprised in S.No. 40/6A1A.

4.I find that the petitioner's father has been issued with Patta No.419 in respect of S.No.40/6A1A to an extent of 2 cents. Therefore, the grievance of the petitioner if true, will have to be addressed by the respondent officials concerned. However, learned Additional Government Pleader would submit that survey has already been conducted.

5.The grievance of the petitioner is not that survey is not conducted, but based on the survey, boundaries are identified and marked within the petitioner's property in Patta No.419. Only because of the same, the petitioner has given a representation on 10.03.2025.

6.In the light of the above, the fourth respondent shall conduct due enquiry and if necessary, conduct resurvey to address the grievance of the petitioner that the boundaries have been identified in S.No.40/6A1A and if found so, necessary redressal measures shall be taken, after giving notice to all the necessary parties. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of twelve [12] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 7.Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
