PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code, to transfer the investigation of the case in Crime No.262 of 2018 from the file of the second respondent to the file of the third respondent police for proceeding with the investigation.

O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking for a transfer of investigation of the case in Crime No.262 of 2018, which is pending on the file of the second respondent.

2.This Court went through the CD file and found that the second respondent has substantially completed the investigation and has taken statements from all the witnesses in this case. The husband of the petitioner, who has brutally attacked the petitioner, was also arrested and remanded to judicial custody. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that while the petitioner was taking treatment, A3 had entered into the house of the petitioner and has taken 56 sovereigns of golden jewellery. The petitioner has made a representation dated 04.09.2018 in this regard to the Commissioner of Police. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.This Court is convinced with the investigation conducted by the second respondent. The second respondent, before completion of the investigation, shall also look into the specific complaint made by the petitioner through her representation dated 04.09.2018 and investigate the case based on her representation. 5.The second respondent is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report as expeditiously as possible. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
