This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking the relief to call for the records in connection with the impugned FIR registered in Crime No.128 of 2015 on the file of the first respondent Police and quash the same in so far as the petitioner is concerned.

2.Today, when the petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (crl.side) appearing for the first respondent, on instructions, would submit that in respect of Crime No.128 of 2015, the first respondent herein has completed the investigation and after preparing a final report, forwarded the same to the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for approval. Crl.O.P.(MD)No.9931 of 2020 3.Therefore, it is made clear that since in respect of crime No.128 of 2015, investigation has been completed, the question of quashing the First Information Report does not arise. However, the first respondent is directed to file a final report before the Jurisdictional Magistrate within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
