Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The petitioner is a small farmer owning about 2.24 acres. He availed loan from the second respondent society to the tune of Rs.1,00,000/-. The petitioner seeks loan waiver in the light of G.O.Ms.No.59 dated 28.06.2016.

3.It is appears that some allegations of irregularities has been made against the said Society. Therefore, the petitioner's request was not processed during the relevant time. Now all the facts have been clarified. 2 / 4

The petitioner is directed to submit a fresh petition seeking loan waiver by enclosing a copy of this order along with the relevant materials, directly to the fifth respondent / The Secretary to the Government, Cooperation, Food and Consumer Protection(CCI) Department, Chennai-009. Appropriate orders will be passed on the petitioner's representation, on merits and in accordance with law within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
