ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed for Mandamus to direct the fourth respondent to relieve the petitioners, who have been absorbed on deputation and working under the Tamil Nadu Women Development Corporation and revert them back to their parent Corporations and Municipalities under the control of the third respondent in light of the proceedings dated 16.02.2019.
2. The petitioners herein are the Community Organizers recruited and brought into service of Municipal Administration and Water Supply Department. Subsequently, the post of Community Organizer was abolished and they were accommodated in the Tamil Nadu Corporation for Development of
Women. While they were serving under the fourth respondent Corporation, the Municipal Administration and Water Supply Department has once again sent a communication seeking to relieve the Community Organizers to their original Department. This proposal was not immediately considered by the Government or by the Tamil Nadu Women Development Corporation. Hence, they have come forward with the Writ Petition seeking direction to the fourth respondent to consider the said request.
3. During pendency of the Writ Petition, the matter was taken to the Government and by letter dated 19.07.2019, the Government has rejected the proposal of the Municipal Administration Department. Since the Government has already taken a decision in this regard, no direction can be issued in this regard.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that they have separately challenged the letter of the Government and the same is pending. Since the Government has already rejected the letter of the third respondent, no further orders in this regard is required. The petitioners are at liberty to work out their remedy regarding the rejection separately.
5.With the above observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
