J U D G M E N T

[Judgment of the Court was made by M.SATHYANARAYANAN, J.] With the consent of both sides, this writ appeal is taken up for final hearing.

2. In continuation of the order, dated 12.09.2016, this Court is passing the following orders:

A perusal of the proceedings, dated 12.09.2016 in gK/23318/2016 (gp6), issued by the District Revenue Officer-cumAdditional District Magistrate, Ramathapuram, would disclose that the review / revision petition filed by the appellant has been rejected.

3. Mr.T.Lajapathi Roy, learned counsel for the petitioner, would submit that the petitioner may be granted liberty to challenge the legality of the said proceedings, dated 12.09.2016, before the competent forum.

4. In the light of the above, the writ appeal is dismissed and the appellant is at liberty to challenge the legality of the said proceedings, dated 12.09.2016, before the competent forum, if he is so advised.

No costs.

Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
