Respondents Prayer:- Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent No.2 to issue revised regularization order for the petitioner, regularizing her as sweeper from the date on which she was initially appointed as Part Time Sweeper under 3rd respondent i.e. on 16.09.1992 and grant all service and monetary benefits within the time frame to be framed to be fixed by this Court. The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to direct the 2nd respondent to issue revised regularisation order for the petitioner regularising her service in the post of Sweeper from the date on which she was initially appointed as part time Sweeper under the 3rd respondent on 16.09.1992.
2.The fact remains that the petitioner was initially appointed as part time Sweeper on consolidated pay. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner made a submission that the services of the writ petitioner were subsequently regularised in the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P.(MD) No.14322 of 2019 sanctioned post in the time scale of pay. However, there was an error occurred in recording the date and year of the appointment. 3.If at all there is an error on record, such error may be rectified by the competent authorities by verifying the original records, if necessary by conducting an appropriate verification. However, the relief of issuing revised regularisation order cannot be directly granted by this Court, unless such verification is done by the incompetent authority. Accordingly, the respondents are directed to verify the service records of the writ petitioner with reference to the original records and initiate appropriate steps to rectify the errors, if any, occurred in the entries made in the service records. The said exercise is directed to be done as expeditiously as possible.
4.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
