This writ petition is filed for writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to grant patta to the petitioner's father after measuring the property in survey no.629/6A4, E-Chittur Village, A.D. Colony, Dindigul District, by considering the representation submitted by the petitioner, dated 20.07.2020, in accordance with law.

2. In spite of the petitioner's representation, the respondents have not surveyed and granted any patta. As far as the petitioner is concerned, there is no rival claimants. However, the respondents shall ascertain whether there are any rival claimants. If there are any rival claimants, the respondents shall issue notice to the petitioner as well as the rival claimants, if any and after conducting enquiry, if all the parameters are available as per law, the respondents shall grant patta.

3. With the above said observation and direction, the writ petition is allowed. No costs.
