O R D E R

The prayer in the Writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 04.06.2019 by following the due process of law, within the stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court. 2.Heard Mr.P.Banuprasath, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.C.M.Mari Chelliah Prabhu, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3.The petitioner, in order to get legal heir certificate for her deceased husband, applied to the respondents by a representation dated 04.06.2019. Hence, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that if the 2nd respondent ie., the Tahsildar, who is the competent authority to issue legal heir certificate, decides the said representation dated 04.06.2019 of the petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court, the petitioner would be satisfied.

4.Heard the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, who would submit that, the 2nd respondent would consider the representation of the petitioner dated https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

04.06.2019 and pass orders thereon on merits and in accordance with law, within a period to be stipulated by this Court. 5.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this Writ petition, this Court is inclined to dispose of the Writ petition with the following direction:

That the 2nd respondent is directed consider the representation of the petitioner dated 04.06.2019 and pass orders thereon, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, this Writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
