The petitioner seeks issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the first respondent to rectify the mistake in the FMB and mention the correct extent as 0.0035.0 instead of 0.0022.0 in respect of the petitioner's property at Door No.364 in T.S.No.403. The petitioner has made a representation on 15.03.2025, in this regard. 2.Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Kameswaran, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.
3.Learned Government Advocate would submit that even as early as on 30.10.2019, the Tahsildar has recommended for the necessary corrections and addressed a communication to the Revenue Divisional Officer, Madurai. Thereafter by proceedings dated 29.09.2020, the Revenue Divisional Officer also directed the corrections to be carried out and according to the Government Advocate, what remains is uploading the corrections in the "Tamil Nilam" site, which exercise would be completed within a period of eight [8] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/5
4.Recording the submission of the learned Government Advocate, the Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the first respondent to carry out the corrections and reflect the same in the "Tamil Nilam" portal within a period of eight [8] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
