ORDER
The prayer in this writ petition is for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.12.2018 and give appointment to N.Nagarajan, on compassionate ground.
2. The case of the petitioner is that her husband viz., Narayana Murugan was working as Village Assistant and he died on 23.06.2012, while he was in service. Hence, the petitioner made an application on 10.12.2018, seeking compassionate appointment to her son viz., N.Nagarajan. However, no order has been passed on the said representation. Hence, the petitioner has come out with the present Writ Petition.
3. The learned Standing Counsel for Government appearing for the respondent would submit that the respondent will consider the case of the petitioner and pass orders.
4. On a perusal of the representation of the petitioner, it is seen that the petitioner has made an application, seeking compassionate appointment belatedly. However, till date, no order has been passed on the said representation either rejecting or https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P(MD)No.1441 of 2019 considering the same. Hence, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.12.2018 and pass orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible preferably, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
