PRAYER: Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified mandamus to call for the proceedings of the 2nd respondent in R.C.No.99/A3/2024 dated 26.04.20224 quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to transfer to any other school in Tirunelveli district. 1/4

ORDER

The petitioner a Secondary Grade Teacher has been placed under suspension that she has quarrelled with the Headmaster. The suspension order is challenged in this writ petition.

2.When this writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader submits that pending this writ petition, the suspension order has been revoked and the petitioner has been reinstated into service. She has been issued with a charge memo by initiating disciplinary proceedings under Rule 17(b) of the Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Discipline and Appeal) Rules. She has also been transferred to some other place for smooth conduct of the disciplinary proceedings.

3.Since the order challenged in this writ petition is a suspension order and it has already been revoked, this writ petition is closed as 2/4

infructuous. In the event, subsistence allowance is not paid for the suspension period, the same needs to be paid to the petitioner. No costs.
