ORDER

The revision petitioner has filed the present Civil Revision Petition invoking Article 227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a direction to the learned I Additional District Munsif-cumRent Controller, Nagercoil, Kanyakumari District, to dispose of R.C.O.P.No.24 of 2009, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the revision petitioner. Since the case is for a limited relief of speedy disposal, no notice need be sent to the respondent. 3.The revision petitioner herein has filed R.C.O.P.No.24 of 2009 against the respondent before the I Additional District Munsif Court at Nagercoil, for an order of eviction of the respondent from the petition mentioned building and surrender vacant possession to the revision petitioner. The said R.C.O.P. is pending before the Court below for the past 10 years and adjourned from time to time without any reasons. Hence, the revision petitioner has filed the present Civil Revision Petition seeking a direction to the learned I Additional District Munsif-cum-Rent Controller, Nagercoil, Kanyakumari District, to dispose of R.C.O.P.No.24 of 2009, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

4.Considering the limited relief sought for by the revision petitioner, without going into the merits and demerits of the allegation raised by him, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of with the following direction:- The learned I Additional District Munsif-cumRent Controller, Nagercoil, Kanyakumari District, is directed to dispose of R.C.O.P.No.24 of 2009, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

pending on his file, on merits and in accordance with law, as early as possible, preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, on day-to-day basis, without giving any adjournment to both the parties. After passing orders, the learned I Additional District Munsif-cum-Rent Controller, Nagercoil, Kanyakumari District, shall report the same to this Court within a period of ten days.

No order as to costs.
