The prayer sought for in this Writ Petition is for a Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.06.2013 requesting him to issue patta to the petitioner in respect of land bearing situated at Pathinthangudi village, Melur Taluk, Madurai District within a time limit fixed by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.C.M.Mari Chelliah Prabhu, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents 1 & 2. Since no adverse orders are going to be passed against respondents 3 & 4, notice to them is dispensed with.

3. The petitioner has given a representation on 27.06.2013 to the second respondent to sub divide the land at S.No.29/1D2, New S.No.29/7A and 29/7B to an extent of 44 cents at Pathinthangudi village, Melur Taluk, Madurai District and to issue patta for the same.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that if the said representation is decided within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court, then the petitioner would be satisfied.
5. The learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the official respondents 1 & 2, would submit that since the representation is pending for very long years, certainly the same would be decided at the earliest point of time.
6. Having regard to the said submission made by both sides, the petitioner's representation submitted to the second respondent, which has been subsequently forwarded to the first respondent, shall consider the said representation of the petitioner and decide the same on merits and in accordance with law, of course, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner also, within a period of four(04) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With these directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
