Respondents PRAYER : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.05.2019 and to survey the land and earmark the four boundaries in survey number 39/8 of an extent of 0.7.50 Ares in Patta Number 741 in Sengulam Village, Aruppukottai Taluk, Virudhunagar District. ORDER

The prayer sought for in this writ petition is for a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.05.2019 and to survey the land and earmark the four boundaries in survey number 39/8 of an extent of 0.7.50 Ares in Patta Number 741 in Sengulam Village, Aruppukottai Taluk, Virudhunagar District.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents. 3.The petitioner, in order to measure the land and identify the boundaries at S.No.39/8 to an extent of 0.7.50 Ares, which belongs to the petitioner, according to the learned counsel for the petitioner, made a request to the respondents on 09.05.2019 for the aforesaid purpose and the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, if the said representation is decided on merits within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court, the petitioner would be satisfied.

4.The learned Government Advocate, would submit that, the said representation of the petitioner dated 09.05.2019 would be decided on merits and needful would be done by the respondents within a time to be stipulated by this Court.

5. Considering the said submissions and taking into consideration the factual matrix of the case, this Court is inclined to dispose of the writ petition with the following direction: That the respondent, especially, the first respondent is hereby directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 09.05.2019 and do the needful and pass final orders thereon within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
