O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by A.D.JAGADISH CHANDIRA, J.] The petitioner has filed this habeas corpus petition seeking a direction to the respondents to secure his daughter, namely, Surya Bharathi, aged about 24 years, produce her before this Court and set her at liberty.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that on 01.05.2024, his daughter came from Chennai and on 02.05.2024, she left the house to go to Oddanchatram. However, she did not return back to home. Despite search, he was unable to find out the whereabouts of his daughter. Therefore, he lodged a complaint before the respondent Police on 02.05.2024 and though a case in Crime No.328 of 2024 was registered under the caption "Woman Missing", thereafter, no steps were taken trace the whereabouts of the missing girl. Hence, the petitioner has filed this habeas corpus petition.

3. Notice to the respondents was ordered on 22.05.2024.

4. Today, the detenue is produced before this Court. On enquiry, the detenue submitted that due to some misunderstandings, she went to

Chennai on her own volition and later, on coming to know about lodging of complaint by her father, she returned back to home and the same was informed to the respondent - Police. Further, she expressed her willingness to go along with her father / petitioner, who is also present before this Court.

5. In view of the above submission of the detenue, no further adjudication is required in this habeas corpus petition and the same is, therefore, closed.
