[Order of the Court was made by T.S.SIVAGNANAM, J.] The petitioner, by way of this writ petition, seeks for a direction to the second respondent to conduct an enquiry with regard to issuance of bogus community certificate to the third respondent and to take further action pursuant to the proceedings of the first respondent, dated 04.04.2019. By the said proceedings, the first respondent directed the second respondent to conduct an enquiry and submit a report.

2. It is submitted that though several months have been lapsed after the petitioner submitted a representation, till date no enquiry has been conducted.
3. Though the third respondent has been served and his name has also been printed in the cause list, none appeared for the third respondent.
4. Grant of community certificate in favour of a person is a very serious matter and if a person has been given a community certificate without conducting proper enquiry, then it goes without saying that it is a bogus certificate and the Authorities are also liable to be proceeded with. Therefore, the second respondent should take up the matter seriously, comply with the directions issued by the first respondent, conduct a full-fledged enquiry and submit a report to the first respondent for appropriate orders. This direction be complied with within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With these directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
