This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent police to not to harass the petitioner by interfering in the civil dispute based on the complaint of the petitioner. 2.According to the petitioner, there is a money dispute between the petitioner and the 3rd respondent. Thereby, the 3rd respondent lodged a false complaint against the petitioner. Though the petitioner has appeared for enquiry, so far no enquiry has been conducted. However, the 2nd respondent frequently called the petitioner and her family members for enquiry. Hence, this petition. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that the 3rd respondent has lodged a complaint before the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Madurai under Section 156(3) of Cr.P.
C and based on the direction of the learned Magistrate, they have called the petitioner for enquiry. Though the petitioner has appeared for enquiry, she sought time to produce the documents. Thereafter, she did not appear for enquiry and filed this petition. Apart from that they have not harassed the petitioner as alleged by her.
4.Considering the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to pass orders without issuing notice to the private respondent.
5.According to the petitioner, the 2nd respondent has called the petitioner and harassed her under the guise of enquiry and the same was denied by the 2nd respondent stating that based on the direction of the learned Magistrate, they have called the petitioner for enquiry. 6.Recording the aforesaid submission, this petition is closed.
