PRAYER: Contempt petition filed under Section 11 of Contempt of Court Act 1971, to punish the respondent herein for his deliberate and willful disobedience of the order of this Court, dated 12.02.2021 in W.P.(MD).No.2671 of 2021.

Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue an appropriate Writ , order or direction in the nature of a wWrit of Mandamus directing the 1st and 2nd respondents to consider and pass orders on the petitioners representation to them dated 27/11/2020 seeking for approval to the period of her employment as Lecturer in Tamil in the 4th respondent college for the period 01/08/2021 to 04/07/2006 with all attendent benefits , and pass such further or other order as this Honble Court may deem fit for the facts and circumstances of this case and thus render justice.

Alleging disobedience of the order of the writ Court dated 12.02.2022, the present contempt petition has been filed. Today, when the matter was listed for admission, the learned Special Government Pleader produced a copy of the proceedings of the Director of Collegiate Education, dated 27.06.2022, whereby, the request of the College has been rejected. In view of the disposal of the representation made, the disobedience alleged cannot be termed to willful in nature.
