Arulmghu Sri Muthumariyamman in the Viswanathayendhal Village, Thondi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District without any hindrance from the respondents 4 to 6 or from their men.

ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for issuance of writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to take action against the respondents 4 to 6 and to enable the petitioner to perform his work as poojari in Arulmghu Sri Muthumariyamman Temple in Viswanathayendhal Village, Thondi Taluk,
2. In the above said temple, Aadi festival was conducted between 27.07.2021 and 03.08.2021. There was some dispute between the petitioner and the respondents 4 to 6. The same resulted in giving a police complaint before the third respondent. An enquiry was conducted and the key was handed over 2/4
to the petitioner to enable the petitioner to perform his work as poojari. Accordingly, the petitioner also did poojari work in the said temple.
3. The present writ petition was filed mainly on the ground that the petitioner had to do his duty as Poojari for the period from 27.07.2021 to 03.08.2021. This period is over long back and hence, no further orders are required to be passed in this writ petition, except recording the above development.
4. This writ petition is disposed in the above terms. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 19.10.2023 NCC : Yes/No Internet :Yes/No Index :Yes/No sm 3/4
