2.The fourth respondent Co-operative Society is not funded by the Government and it is not a State within the meaning of Article 12 of the Constitution of India. Thus, the petitioner has to exhaust alternative remedy contemplated under the procedure of the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Act. The principles in this regard are settled by the Larger Bench of this Court in the case of R.Marappan vs. Deputy Registrar of Co-operative Societies and another reported in 2006(4) CTC 689. Thus, the petitioner has to approach the competent authority under Section 153 of the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Act for redressal of his grievance. 3.In view of the fact that these writ petitions are filed challenging the order passed by the Management of the Co-operative Society, no further consideration is required and accordingly, this writ petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
