Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of writ of mandamus to call for the records relating to the Tender cum Auction Notification of the respondents herein dated 13.07.2018 in Na.Ka.No.131/18 which was published in the Tamil Newspaper "Dhina Thanthi" dated 26.07.2018 and quash the same and further direct the respondents herein to extend the lease for a period of three years to the petitioner in respect of vacant land for running a cycle stand in T.Kallupatti as per G.O.Ms.No.92, Municipal Administration and Water Supply Department , dated 03.07.2007.

Today (i.e. 02.08.2018) when the matter came up for admission, the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent, on instructions from Chinnasamy Pandian, Executive Officer, T.Kallupatti Town Panchayat submitted that they intend to withdraw the auction notification dated 26.07.2018 and conduct the same another day by following the due procedure as contemplated.

2. Recording the submission made by the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents, the respondents are directed to withdraw the impugned notification with liberty to call for fresh notification in accordance with law as per procedure contemplated https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

under the Municipal Administration manual for conduct of fresh auction.

3 With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
