Respondents Prayer: The petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.04.2019 and consequently, direct him to issue patta in petitioner's name for the land located at Koduvilar Patty Village, Theni Taluk, Theni District.

O R D E R

The prayer in the Writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.04.2019 and consequently, direct the respondents to issue patta in petitioner's name for the land located at Koduvilar Patty Village, Theni Taluk, Theni District. 2.Heard Mr.P.V.Gurudevaraj, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.V.Anand, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3.The petitioner claimed that, he purchased the property in Survey Nos.143/2B, 143/5, 129/4B, 143/2B, 143/5 and 129/4B at Koduvilar Patty Village, Theni Taluk, Theni District and after having purchased the same, she has been in possession and enjoyment of the same. Therefore, in order to get patta for the said land, the petitioner, on 10.04.2019, has given a request as an application https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

to the respondents.

4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that if the said application of the petitioner would be decided by the first respondent for issuing patta, within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court, the petitioner would be satisfied.

5.Mr.V.Anand, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the said application of the petitioner would be decided on merits by the first respondent, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

6.Having regard to the said submissions made by both sides, and taking into account, the prayer sought for herein, this Writ petition is disposed of with the following direction: 7.That the first respondent is directed to consider the application of the petitioner dated 10.04.2019 and pass orders thereon on merits and accordance with law, within a period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
