respondents 1 to 2 to change the entry wrongly made in the Adangal and FMB Sketch of the subject property as Theru, instead of Manai for the petitioner's property situating in New T.S.No.5021 in block 93 ward 10 of Madurai Chinna chokkikulam and issue patta for the subject property. ORDER

Heard both sides.

2.The petitioner purchased the petition mentioned property in the year 2011 vide registered sale deed dated 27.04.2011 (Document No.1740/2011) on the file of Sub Registrar, Thallakulam. The petitioner's vendor had in turn purchased way back in the year 1971 vide registered sale deed. The petitioner's vendor had put up a residential house and it was assessed to property tax also. The petitioner is also promptly paying the property tax till date. Whileso, the same had been erroneously classified as "street" in the revenue records. This has to be necessarily changed.

3.The District Revenue Officer, Madurai is directed to make the necessary changes in the revenue record. It shall be classified as "kid (house site)" instead of "njU (street)". This shall be done without any delay by the District Revenue Officer, Madurai. 4.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
